I have the honour to report that Mr
Hallifax sat with me from Thursday to Saturday inelusive.
I regret to say we were not able to get through all the
- cases. On Saturday it was found necessary to adjourn 38.
Summonses and 5 daily cases to the following Tuesday (6th
November).

With the present number of cases before the Court
it is absolutely necessary that there should be two
Magistrates sitting daily to cope with the work.
